Books of The Month: January Edition

img_11611Hello Everyone! I´ve decided that from this month forward, I am going to blog about the books I have read this month!

For this month I have only 3 books, but all of them were extremely good and I highly recommend all of them.

  1. Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. I had to read this book for school, but I really enjoyed this book! It is the play about Rome under the rule of Caesar and how people conspired to kill him to take his throne. I think that if you do not have to read this book for school, it is definitely something everyone should consider reading.
  2. Wicked by Gregory Maguire. (Almost) everyone has seen the movie Wizard of Oz or has seen the Broadway Musical Wicked. This book will make you laugh, cry, and laugh while you cry during some of the more heartfelt scenes. This book is probably one of the most powerful books I have read on my own time since I started High School. It is the epitome of good vs evil and anyone will be able to relate to a character of this book.
  3. The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur. While Milk and Honey is Rupi Kaur´s most popular book. The Sun and Her Flowers is full of poems that promote healing, self love, and happiness. The poems rang from 3-4 lines to filling up an entire page, but each line is written from the bottom of her heart.

Thank you for reading. I hope you try reading these books or are inspired to try new genres!
